My Story
I am a retired teacher with an Honours Degree in English, as well as an M.Phil. During the course of my teaching career, which spanned well over thirty years, I was responsible for editing the annual school magazine, which was always in the region of 200 pages. As such, I had to edit reports submitted by a large number of different people, with varying skills of linguistic ability.

Since my retirement, I have proofread several novels submitted to me by an American company (Damonza.com), and I have also been involved in proofreading chapters from an academic textbook. I have thoroughly enjoyed these ventures, and am now pursuing this interest further. I also have a classical background, with Latin forming part of my undergraduate degree, so you can rest assured that my grammar is accurate!

Eagle-eyed Annie is a small, family-run business, with my nephew, Ryan Proctor, a trained barrister, running and managing it – teachers are notoriously bad business people!
We will take a personal interest in any project you entrust us with, and we assure you of our best service at all times.
